14yr old Daniel from llangollen274 viewsOn the 24th March, a very cold, blustery day during Easter 2008; fishing ledgered double sweetcorn about 2 rod lengths out near to the feed into the House lake, Daniel landed this lovely conditioned Tench estimated at 1 1/4lb, a PB, plus others during a hard days fishing.

Early Season Tench 2008245 viewson 9th March 2008 with luncheon meat, local angler Mark caught this superb example of Tinca Tinca (Tench to you and I) in the Main Lake. Although not a common capture in early season, Nineoaks frequently produces Tench from January onwards. Well done Mark.

Coarse Cracker!429 viewsThis 2 1/2lb Tench was caught by a beginner in our new Coarse Lake (House pool) on the afternoon of Thursday 13th January 2005. The day was clear blue skies but cold following 3 days of strong winds and heavy rain. A fabulous fish for this time of year.
