remnants of Large Eel466 viewsIn spring 2005 a large 4lb Eel was caught and released in the Main Lake. This Eel was found stuck in our security netting surrounding our Novices Pool. It apopeared to have been dragged backwards through the netting until it got stuck, it was then eaten alive, tail first from the opposite side of the netting. The remains were 28" long and roughly 10" in circumference.

This fish was de-hydrated and had been out of the water several hours before being measured386 viewsSince these photos were taken, during 2008 several other large Eels have been caught and released, 1 or 2 around 2ft, one at 3ft and another at 42"!
